Hi Jeremy,

For Dreupelkot, read Dulle Griet (on the large square). It must have been the wonderful beer that was in my belly! Ghent was not immediately beautiful, it had loads of character though.

I've been to Grogblossoms a lot of times and it is certainly one of the best in town. Prices are civilised too.

I'd appreciate a copy of your photos when you get a chance, thanks. On the friday night I was at the bar with an English friend of mine who likes Belgian beer also. Shame I didn't get to speak to all the babblers but it was hard work in the K, getting drinks and moving around. We met Fred loads of times and bumped in to some US beer fanatics from N.Carolina a number of times. A lot of these guys had checked this board out but had not posted. Lots of lurkers out there!

Cheers

Ian.

P.S. Fancy setting up a beer business in Belgium?!!
