And you missed one of the three best places, Trappistenhuis. Great beer ambience in a 1673 building, extremely friendly and knowledgeable owner (who write about beer for Belgian magazines) good selection of 150 beers, now including the bottled Achel 8, perhaps 1000 bottles of Belgian beer decorated throughout the place, and friendly staff. The new St. Bernardus Wit bier, which I only saw there, was pretty good, far superior to others I have had (like Hooegarden, which just does not cut it anymore, and Palm's Steendonk, sampled van 't vat at the Monday babbler lunch at Bier Circus). Check out www.trappistenhuis.be.
