Re: Weekend in Belgium - a few notes from Essen, Brussels and Antwerp

The following is the paragraph from my new downloadable Brussels guide on the Bier Circus "Vintage Beer List"

Old beers are also available, for which one needs to ask for the "Vintage Beers" list. The list is not as long or as interesting as that of the Kulminator's, in Antwerp, but, of course, it takes time to build up stock! Examples on the list, in October, 2002 are as follows: Westvleteren Abt, at €5.50 (2000) and at €6 (1999); Fantôme Saison d'Erezée Automne at €18 (75cl) (1999); Orval at €4 (1998); De Cam Oude Geuze at €11 (75cl) (1998); and De Neve Gueuze at €25 (75cl) (1989). The latter was the oldest on the list.
