Food at the Circus

Posted by Jeremy Gray on 12/17/2002 11:47:34 AM

>>How was the food at the Bier Circus?<<

It was pretty good. Both Theresa and I had the steak frites. The meat was tasty and well cooked, though Theresa's portion could have been bigger.

The frites were ok, but the portion was far too small and both of us were hungry shortly afterwards. I asked for an additional serving of frites around 10.30pm but was told that no more food was available.....

>>In terms of your being 'told off" about trying to buy another beer, I don't remember this ever happening to me in Flanders. Is this just the gruffness of Brussels perhaps, or does it happen in Wallonia also?<<

I can't recall this happening to me ever, anywhere, either in Flanders, Brussels or Wallonia.
