I also had a very tasty stoemp with chicken in a beer sauce. Paulette had one of the other stoemp dishes which was also excellent.

I was one of the original ones to order out of turn as Jeremy described. Since we were all on one generic bill, it seemed logical that we could order when we were ready and not when the slowest had finished. As this was my first visit to the Bier Circus, it pissed me off, as it was my first negative experience in a Belgian bar to date.

There was also a party of around 20 that arrived between 11 and 12 (Flemish speaking!) that Patrick managed to ignore/ stress over, that they left pretty soon after.

How busy can you get when people are ordering beers at rate of 1/45 minutes?
