A good, but obvious point Joris !!

Thom, when you are in a Dutch speaking town, what language did you expect to have station announcements in ?? Perhaps you could ring Belgian Rail in advance next time and let them know when and where you will be travelling so they can get an English speaking announcer in ... preferably one with an American accent to make you feel at home !!

Also, cold toilets ?? Call me old fashoined, but I usually only go to the pub toilet to take a piss. This usually takes about a minute. Admittedly a lady will take a bit longer, but unless you are planning to spend the evening in the bog, is it really worth complaining about ??

One other thing ... and now it is time to wind a few more people up ... the "loud talking" thing. This may upset some of you, but when did that stop me ... generally speaking, and this is a generalisation, Americans do talk more loudly that any other nation on Earth !! Call it confidence, call it friendliness ... call it whatever you like. But when there is a group of Americans in a small pub or restaurant, everyone else knows they are there !!!

Cheers !! Icepick.
