Bob H's book

>>Great to see we have another convert<<

Definitely, though I would be counted as an addict already on most scales. This book definitely plays on the fact that most blokes like collecting things and going obsessively overboard to get more of whatever than anyone else does!

>The first hundred is easy, it's the second hundred that hurts<<

Yes, I was coming to that conclusion by the time we hit our 7th cafe on Tuesday alone! What is the prize for doing all 295, and has anyone ever done a whole book's worth?

>>What is accepted as truth by one bar owner is not by others<<

Well, we certainly had wide variations in practice. All I can say is that we have already been given loads of free beers!

>>You are in for a great couple of years<<

Indeed. The good news is that Theresa also likes Bob's book and the cafes that we ended up in - and hence when I now say that we urgently need a weekend in Antwerp with field trip to Turnhout, she no longer looks at me like I am mad.

BTW, what is the deadline for collecting stamps?

Cheers!!

Jeremy
