Going on on that.

Baarle-Hertog apart (different origin), the kingdom of Belgium has three anomalies since its separation of the kingdom of the Netherlands: the Dutch Limburg province - all to do with Maastricht which was a fortified town, and had to look upon France.

If not, it ought to have been 'Belgium'.

The middle of the Namur province, i.e. the Meuse stretch from Revin to Givet, which was the same for the République Française to look at the untrustworthy Dutchmen from Willem II. Ought to have been 'Belgium'.

Zeeuws-Vlaanderen (Leftbank of the Scheldt estuary), so that Holland could close down the Scheldtmouth at any time if Antwerpen-port got to big or Brussels too annoying. Is actually an integral part of East- and West-Flanders in mentality, orientation etc. They're still trying to change that...
