Re: PODGE’S BELGIAN BEER TOURS - Brussels 2003

Thanks for the write up Thom, great to read about your trip.

The experience at the Congres sounds very unsatisfactory; from memory our night there in December wasn't the cheapest, hence you would expect better than you got. Might avoid it next time and go instead to one of the hotels on the Rogier or the Metropole.

How was the 'aroma' at the Lustin musee? Both Mat and I have smelt something unusual there in the past!

Hope you get your Bob book back, though its very unfortunate that you lost it when you did, as it would appear that you could have run up a cricket score of ticks with all the bars that you visited.

Not surprised that you didn't stay for more at the Bier Circus once you got there, by that stage I'd have been ready for bed! On Monday I asked Patrick how the group's visit on Sunday night had gone - he said that 'everyone looked very tired'!

Finally, how were the beers from the Brasserie du Brabant?

Cheers!

Jeremy
