There is also a place in a basement on the Grand Place 't Kelderke that does traditional Belgian cuisine. Denise and I had stoemp there (The Belgian version of bangers and mash). It was good and not exhorbitant. It isn't beer cuisine but the food was good, not full of tourists, and they had a dozen beers perhaps. I think Denise ate at L'Auberge des Chapeliers on Rue des Chapeliers very close to the GP. She thought it very good as well and not very expensive.
