Cantillon

Glad you like it here, Kevin, and welcome.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Lou Pepe beers. I've tried both the kriek and the framboise and thought they were fantastic. Not as mouth puckeringly tart as the regular Cantillon line-up, but still beers to wake up your tastebuds. I haven't had the opportunity to try the St. Lamvinus yet, but that will change on a trip to San Diego when St. Lamvinus will be on tap at O'Briens. I also recommend seeking out the Fou Foune and the Grand Cru Bruocsella (their only unblended lambic available in bottles). Cantillon has a very nice web site in case you hadn't visited it:

http://www.cantillon.be/br/en/Cantillon-13107.html

Since these beers are or have been available in the Chicago area, you're probably already aware of the prices they fetch in the U.S. I'd pack an empty suitcase just for 75cl bottles of Cantillon.

Finally, another way to get great information about a specific beer (the Cantillon beers come up all the time here) is to use the key word search on the archives page.

Cheers!
