Beer Fraternity/Sisterhood

Posted by John White on 05/27/2004 05:53:56 PM

I was fairly certain that you were not a blood brother, but we are both in that great fraternity (and sisterhood) of lovers of good beer!

The following pages of my website feature some truly great places in Belgium that can be visited and the last is a life enhancing place, in France, just a mile o so over the border. Where they are not in major towns, full directions for getting to them are given:

http://www.whitebeertravels.com/cantillon (official website http://www.cantillon.be )

http://www.whitebeertravels.com/beck (The French place: brewery/bar surrounded by its own hop fields)

Of course, one should not enter Belgium without a copy of Tim Webb's Good Beer Guide to Belgium & Holland. Details of this, and how to purchase it, are to be found on my Web page covering his new book (with Podge and Joris Pattyn) on the Payottenland, LambicLand LambikLand: http://www.whitebeertravels.com/lambicland .

I have my own downloadable guides covering the biggest Speciality/Craft Beer towns in Belgium on my Downloads page, most of which have accompanying maps: http://www.whitebeertravels.com/downloads .
