I had the same dish! I was not revolted as much as you were though and was actually able to finish my plate. The only thing from St.Germain which disappointed me was the fact that beer list was not updated at all. Oh, and the fact that even though I did my best to speak French from France, the waiter just stared at me before asking me to repeat. That is not only at St.Germain, that is Paris! Or at least, my experience of it from the Québécois point of view.
