Re: OT: Any good espresso in Brussels?

The Coffee Club at 38 Rue du Bailli (off Avenue Louise) serves great espresso in what I would call a "European-style" mark-up on the American-style espresso bar theme. Comfortable chairs to lounge in and read courtesy newspapers and such while jazzy and afro-cuban tunes play in the background. The coffee comes in all shapes and sizes. Cheese-cake, pastries, quiches, the works.

The Illy Espresso flagship store/bar is only a couple of steps away (corner of Avenue Louise en Rue du Bailli/Rue Lesbroussart). It's flashy but less cosy.

There's another very Italian-style espresso bar on Chaussée d'Ixelles. I don't know the exact number, but it's in the beginning to the right if you come from Porte de Namur, almost next to a McDonalds.

Cheers!
