Popoff, Oude Koornmarkt, around the corner from Frituur N1, for cuisine snacks.

Sombat, Vleeshuisstraat, the superb cornerbuilding on the quay leading to the Vleeshuis for a great Thai.

Other good Thai is Suanbua, Grote Pieter Potstraat, off the Hoogstraat.

Also of the Hoogstraat is Haarstraat with Gin Fish, the best fishrestaurant within Antwerpen and wide surroundings; open kitchen, informal, but the quality and prices are haute cuisine.

Other side of the Grote Markt, is La Terrazza, a superb little Italian restaurant on the corner Oude Beurs and Hofstraat.

Another very good one, very priceworthy is in Lange Koepoortstraat, but cannot remember the name by heart.

Next to the pub Stamineeke (Vlasmarkt) is also a good restaurant with French cuisine, chef Raoul.

I'll try to think of more.
