Kleine Zavel

Not your best suggestion, I'd say. Good winelist, NO beer to speak of, despite the display of empty old bottles from a forgotten brewery; VERY trendy and "artistic" (features in all magazines), but in reality, it is very little food for very much money. All combinations are really "sought", and not all of them are a hit. Lut vowed never to return there, my mother idem. There's a new one in the beginning of Kloosterstraat that shows more promess.

If you really think money is no objection, there's De Kerselaer in Grote Pieter Potstraat and Fornuis on the corner of Reynderstraat, both one Michelin star.

Or you could take a cab to Kapellen, and dine at Bellefleur (one or two stars, generally thought the best in the Antwerpen regio)

Joris
