Gouden Carolus Easter Beer

Posted by Filip Geerts on 03/29/2005 06:21:56 AM

>>The Easter beer - a new one for us – was a real surprise, being dark, rich and wintery – not at all what I had imagined an Easter beer would be like. Massive liquorice nose on this first bottle too.<<

To be precise, the Easterbeer has "steranijs"(Illicium Verum )as head ingrediënt. There is also some dried orange peel inside. Note that this beer was once exported only to Denmark as a testing phase !

Cheers,

Filip
