More on the subject... any comments on the name will be sent back to Chris & Garrett...
Hello Glenn,
there seem on BABBLEBELT to be some confusions about the recipe brewed @ Brooklyn Brewery.:
The name will be: Brooklyn Cuvee D'Achouffe.
Qty planned to be brewed: 150 HL
Garrett say's: " the brew ferment as a rocket" : he never have seen a brew fermentng soo fast.
I have to say that the yeast from our yeast propagation system, who run non-stop since 5 years, culture real "yeast athletes" with fantastic aromatics!
The brews will be probably ready for half november / end november.
The alc. by volume will be at least 7,5.
The name of BROOKLYNNETTE, who is sticked on the kegs, is renamed "Gnomette part 2" by our importer. Garret & me prefer BROOKLYNNETTE.
Whatever, we will brew a second production of BROOKLYNNETTE @ Les3fourquets, in time to be 100% ready for the Zythos Bier Festival. We reserve 12 kegs for this festival, who will take place during the first weekend of march, the remaining # of kegs will be sold to BIER & Co Holland. We expect that the placement of Brooklynnette in 30 Dutch bars will help the start of Brooklyn Beers in Holland.
There is a chance that Garrett OLIVER will come himself to the ZYTHOS BIERFESTIVAL to poor some glasses of BROOKLYNNETTE.
Chris

From Garrett on Monday regarding the brew on Thursday.
This fermentation is already finished today at 3.2 Plato. We will brew another 120 HL next week, and then these will be blended; I think the next brews will finish lower. The thyme is quite pronounced, more on the palate than in the aroma, and the beer tastes very dry. This will be a very interesting beer!
