Re: OT, in that Bud Light is not really beer

That "fake" ad was remarkably similar to the actual ones. AB InBev is only marginally a beer brewing company. It's much more a marketing and finance firm. The best irony is that they are now promoting a new, even lighter beer-like beverage that will primarly succeed by taking market share away from Bud Light, which is AB InBev's largest seller (just barely ahead of their flagship Budweiser lager-like beer-like beverage). It's called "Bud Select 55" and packs a mere 55 calories into a 12 ounce/355 ml bottle, with all the oodles of flavor that would imply. The target market is those who would willingly drink such liquids in the first place, thus further diluting market shares of the existing brands from the sort-of-American "Big 3" brewers. They are beer-like beverages aimed at people who hate the taste of beer, and want something that seems beer-like but tastes as little like beer as possible. They succeed remarkably.
