Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

Frothy question
What is the correct ettiquette for drinking a beer with a big foamy head?

ie, Are you supposed to sip at the head until you can get to the ambrosia below?? Perhaps you should wait for the head down (and the ale to warm a little) before drinking?? Or (to quote Frank the Tank), perhaps there is something really cool that I don't even know about.

Cheers,

Glenn.

Re: Frothy question
The easiest way is to drink it out of the proper glassware. A tulip glass will allow you to drink the beer without getting a mouthfull of foam.

Re: Frothy question
Glenn, this is a better question for the other board. That being said, I think the answer is a matter of personal preference. Some times foam is in the way and sometimes it is an excellent opening act. Depends on the beer and what you like.
