Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

I just really like the work levifunk is doing!

Problems with the "quad" swap
A lot of people have expressed interest, but now that I'm working to make it happen (finally!) I really only have 3 confirmed participants. Sean, Brian and DaveI if you're reading this you are those 3. There are several folks I've not heard back from. This has to be the most discussed swap of them all but there appears to be insufficient interest. If there are more out there keep in mind this is not just another thread to gather interest, I am actually trying to plan put it in motion. If you are interested please respond - and be sure to fill in the Email field. I'll need that to contact you. Steve

Looking better
Had one drop out and one confirmation so we are at 4. So add Scott Jackson to the list, he's an exceptional brewer so you guys are in for a treat. If there are no more nibbles by the end of the week we'll go with 4 (A couple more would be nice but 4 is considered the minimum) and I'll let you guys know who the surprise tasting guest is.

Cool, do you normal hold the tasting on a weekend or just whenever works with peoples schedules? I'm excited to do this. BR

Re: Problems with the
Brian, actually we havn't done one on a weekend in years. I don't know why, Sunday night was always my favorite timing. Now-a-days either Tuesday or Wednesday nights are the most popular. I'll start by seeing what days generally are impossible for people, then follow that up by suggesting a bunch of dates from a range and ask what of those are impossible for anyone. If some make that cut we pick from them. Otherwise I try a new range. The goal is to make it work for everyone.

Considering all the talk on this sorta style I'm pretty amazed response has been this light, I thought we'd have to do a couple sessions to get them all in. But since nobody else seems to be stepping up to the plate I will probably start this process tomorrow.

Hi Steve,

When is this swap? I am interested, but have yet to bottle my quad - though it's been lagering for 6 months.

Re: Problems with the
Pat, I sent you an email on this, did you get it? I am going to start the process of selecting a date today. Talk of this swap started over a year ago, its time to go! If yours is not yet bottled I guess it wouldn't work.

Hey Steve,

Got the email and thanks for setting this up. I'm very excited in trying labors of love.

I'm pretty flexible for Jan/Feb.

Re: Problems with the

Couldn't you keg force-carbonate a gallon (or the whole batch if you wanted) and then bottle that?

Re: Problems with the
Got my beers already to go. Are we going to include an extra beer as well as I know there was talk of it. I think the only thing that would be suitable for me to send along would be a Hell Hath No Fury from Bells. Nothing to special but that's the only semi-local belgian style american beer I can get my hands on right now.
