Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

Any interest in a Winter Ale swap?
This would be pretty open by definition, N8 suggested it last night. Actually I was planning to treat my harvest ale (fresh hop beer) as more a xmas/winter/holiday ale. It came out more robust than I expected, deeper hop and malt character, greater body without the associated finishing gravity, seemed like something I might expect in ordering a xmas/winter/holiday beer. Anyone else?

Re: Any interest in a Winter Ale swap?
I'd love to do it again, but I'm doing my wintery thing in a week or so and it wouldn't be ready for at least a month or more.

I have a nice dubbel thing I'd love feedback on....

There is no time frame, but into November or even early December can be on the table. Actually I suppose given all the bitching I do about early xmas decorating, to really be a holiday ale it should be after Thanksgiving!

I have a dark strong belgian thing with some interesting ingredients that I think might fit the bill. Would love to participate!

OK, that's enough for a swap. We could accomodate 3 more, then this would have to be closed out.
