Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

I just really like the work levifunk is doing!

Belgian sugar swap update
I wanted to start a second thread, the first has already gone to two pages.

I should probably have predicted this, I think the swap will not looks so much like my first scenario. The reason would have been easy to see, Brian has recently added an Amber sugar to his line card and that's what almost everyone is looking for. Can't say I blame you. I still need to hear from ryan, DBear CDH and Dsanborn, but as it stands now the clear front runner for style is a strong golden. Both bitter and mild are also popular choices, looks like we'll be doing something with both. Olde ale is right up there too. So far dealing with lots of hops is not looking likely.

Anyway, I need to really examine the data, but I suspect we will end up doing one swap whose theme is "what can you do with amber syrup" and maybe 2 other style-specific swaps. Jury's out.

Hey dude

I wrote you yesterday on the other thread but I'm up for anything with a preference leaning toward a dubbel and an IIPA.

Re: Belgian sugar swap update
Oops, sorry Chris. Record keeping hiccup on my part. Yes, got your info. Make that just ryan, DBear and Dsanborn I need to hear from. I'll have a plan drafted towards the end of today, we'll have tomorrow and part of Friday to dial it in. Later on Friday I'll shoot the necessary info off to Brian.

Re: Belgian sugar swap update
Ryan, did you get my email with the link to the form? It isn't just the preferred beer but also the sugar you would prefer (first and second choices for each). Anyway, I get email generated from the form that help me keep all this info in good order. I can resend the link if you need.

Re: Belgian sugar swap update

I just emailed you this, but no, I didn't get the link.

I thought you just didn't see my name popping up above.

Anyway, can you resend it to me?

Re: Belgian sugar swap update
Hello Everyone,

Thank you for for your interest in this swap idea. I am looking forward to this event. I wanted to let you know that your sugar packages are prepared and will be shipping today. If you are on the East coast I would expect it to be 3 to 4 day delivery with Fedex Ground.

Please let me know if there are any questions or problems.

Best regards,

Al B
