Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

Organic NZ Saaz Hops
Has anybody tried these? Just got a lb. of those and a lb. NZ PAcific Gem pellets. I was expecting the normal saaz alphas but they are 7.5%AA!....interesting....I'll be brewing a hoppy saison today with them, a bit of the PG for bitter, and a bunch of saphir, fermented with the WY French Saison yeast. I was just a bit curious what to expect from this interesting saaz variety.

Re: Organic NZ Saaz Hops
Apparently they're derived from Belgian saaz.

Re: Organic NZ Saaz Hops
Yeah they have a great woody character...I used them awhile ago in some pale ales....When my India Farmhouse Ale finishes I'm going to use the yeast cake for a dark saison with the PGs and some black patent and carafa I.
