Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

Mestreechs Aijt and Panil
So I made the voyage today to get some brewing supplies and get some 'exotic' beers, when I came across a bottle of Mestreechs Aijt.

I was under the impression that Aijt closed its doors in 2005. Does anyone have any info on this? Is this one of the last bottles in the world? I doubt it would change my mind from drinking it, but I would like to know if I have one of the last.

I recieved some other bad news from the beer guy at the store that he can no longer get Panil. Did Panil close its doors as well?

This is really getting frustrating considering my favorite style is the Flanders Red and they are dropping like flies. Rodenbach of course is still available but I really like variety.

Re: Mestreechs Aijt and Panil
I think they did stop Mastreechs, but not positive. I have a few bottles yet - very prune-like w/tartness. If you can get to Stateline liquors in Maryland, they have a few others - Ichtegems Grand Cru, Monks Cafe, Vichtenaar, and Echt Kriekenbier.
