Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

SteveG off the air for a while
Hey gang, a few of you know this already, but for the rest of you I might not have anything to say here till next month. My bike accident in October turned out to be a lot worse than originally believed, I go in for shoulder surgery this afternoon. Possible 5 torn tendons, 2 completely detached. Modern medical science as miraculous as it is, this type of healing is still a real marathon. 3 to 6 weeks with the arm immobilized, giving the extent of my injury I'm expecting the worse. I don't know exactly what to expect, but for a while I understand typing will be difficult to impossible. Cya!

Steve-

Best of luck on your recovery as I'm hopeful and positive it will go well. Also, if you need anything, please let me know. My wife is a Chiro-natural medicine Doc so if you need some help there too, she'd be very happy to help. She can even provide some helpful hints on the best nutrition and supplement to aid in a speedy recovery, relatively speaking.

Good luck Steve. From personal experience, stick with the post-surgery physical therapy schedule it will pay off.

Re: SteveG off the air for a while
Best wishes in the recovery. Sorry to hear about that. Hopefully at least one arm is strong enough to lift a glass of beer to your lips while you heal. B-vitamins and all. ;)

Take care and I am sure we all hope you heal up quickly and fully.

-Cheers

Yes, all the best Steve! And hurry back (within the bounds of medical reason, of course) - your posts are part of the heart and soul of this community and it is never quite the same when you are away.
