Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

I just really like the work levifunk is doing!

Rodenbach Foederbier
An unfiltered 5% version of uncut aged beer, without the caramel colouring. Served on handpump, it's only ever been spotted at a couple of outlets in Europe.

Will there be living bugs to sample and culture? I will find out in April when (fingers crossed) I go.

Re: Rodenbach Foederbier
Are you going to the brewery itself or you know of a place that has it on tap?

I know of a place on tap in Amsterdam. I'll also be looking into Belgium - haven't finalized plans.

Re: Rodenbach Foederbier
I've been reading the latest edition of MJ's Great Beers of Belgium and almost through the chapter on F.reds. The first beer mentioned in the Rodenbach section is the Foederbier, and it says it's always on tap at Rodenbach's bar, I can look up the name if you want I don't remember it off hand.....not sure if you're going to be around that part of Belgium.....BTW, which bar in Amsterdam? I was only there once but perhaps by chance it may be a bar I stopped at.

Off topic....how was your trip to town a couple of weeks ago?

Re: Rodenbach Foederbier
First stop will be Amsterdam. There's a place referred by Ron Pattinson from the other board on his web site European beer guide where one can drink Foederbier. Plans after that actually may be on the other side of Belgium in Liege (to be confirmed). Brussels probably too.

Philly was great. (thanks Jim K).
