Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
OK, another time Pate. I was holding off to get an address for you and Jim to kick this off, at this point I think we need to proceed without Jims shipping address.
Scott ... good news!! |

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
Hi Ben, sorry for the delay. Rough week, lost my dad Wednesday. The plan was that we would try to hook up this weekend as I need to be in the area anyway. JimK is having a party, he's just a few minutes from the Betsy Ross bridge. Ted is working Saturday though, till 7:30. We'll need to come up with another plan. |

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
Sorry to hear that Steve. That's no prob. I'll e-mail Ted, I'm sure he could just send mine along with his, and I'll send him a little something extra from the cellar to make up for the added cost of shipping...

Ben, a road trip to Philly has not been ruled out, just the one I was planning on is not working. |

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
Ben, don't worry about extra costs, I'll send yours along. I will gladly accept something out of your cellar next time we cross paths. I want to get to Dock Street sometime in the near future. |

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
I have everyone's beers, and, I'll be sending out scott and cisco's today - sorry for slacking I've had a busy past couple of weeks. I don't see why you shouldn't have them by next Wed at the latest, but they should arrive before that. |

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
So what time are we doing the swap on wednesday, did we ever discuss that?

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
That's cutting it close! Cisco, would 8:15 EST be possible for you? |
Scott R 04/07/08 09:54 AM

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
Yes, 8:15 EST is do able for me. (5:15 PST) |
TedJ 04/07/08 12:16 PM

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
8:15 EST works for me.
Cisco my beers were delivered on Fri at your front door per UPS. Scott, yours is on the local delivery truck as of 8:45. |

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
Oh, sorry Scott. I had it in my head you were in Indiana, I guess ID is Idaho. Didn't mean to pass you by on the timing, I thought Cisco was the furthest out. |

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
No problem, Steve. I'm not sure how AZ works, what with day light savings time and all, but I'm guessing that Cisco might be an hour ahead of me. I only posted the PST conversion in case it was going to help Cisco and to make sure I was thinking correctly. |
Cisco 04/08/08 01:54 PM

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
8:15 EST is 5:15 in Tucson so yes that is doable.
I have everyone's beers now. |

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
crap.....Scott I hope you get my package tomorrow!! |
BPotts 04/09/08 08:12 AM

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
Scott, your package departed Pasco, WA at 2:55 AM this morn. You should have it today. |

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
The package has arrived! Luckily it was shipped fedex. If it had been UPS, they would have held it at the sort facility in Spokane, WA for another day! |

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
Great... next time I'll ship earlier, i've learned my lesson! |

Thanks gang!
Looks like we were able to maintain the tradition of all beers in the swap being well worth the sampling. Great how diverse they all were, thanks for the great event. Steve |

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
Hey guys, sorry to butt in, but are you going to post a transcript from this tasting? While I was unable to participate, I'd really love to ready how it went.
Thanks |

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
Usually I just make that available to the people who took part, but if nobody has an objection to general posting I'm fine with it. |

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
Oh; I didn't realize that. I guess because the 100% brett swap was made public. Your call (obviously) : ) |

Re: Anyone have a Flemish-type red?
Actually only bits and pieces were included in that article, the transcript is considerably more indepth. But I'm going to guess that nobody will mind posting a link to this one. Actually the reason I keep it exclusive is I usually post the transcript on the swap page that also has the mailing addresses of all who took part. I can keep those private by just posting a transcript link here...
