Attenuation in the bottle
Simple question here:

How much additional carbonation (in volumes) will grual bottle attenuation add?

E.G. if the beer goes from 1.007 to 1.006, how many volumes of CO2 does this add? And if you could refer me to any charts or online resources on this I'd appreciate it.

My scratch calculation says that a .001 drop in gravity will give you about .7 volumes of CO2.

According to the tasty brew carbonation calculator for 100 gallons of beer at 60 degrees:

51.5 amount of cane sugar for 2.0 volumes

56.6 amount of cane sugar for 2.1 volumes

So, 5.1 oz of cane sugar in 100 gallon gives you .1 volumes of CO2

1 point in 100 gallon is 35.6 oz of cane sugar @ 45 pppg.

35.6 is about 7 times larger than 5.1, so you’d get 7 times more carbonation, that is .7 volumes of CO2.
