Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

Re: Anyone interested in all-brett swap II
West coasters. My beer went out without labels. its a mo betta bretta clone and im the only one shipping from New Mexico.

I got Ciscos package today. It has 2 bpttles of beer. Was i supposed to send 2 to everyone? this is my first swap and i only sent a bottle to each. i can send another bottle to everyone if 2 is the norm.

Also, id there a commercial trading forum here? is it frowned upon? i cant get much thats "special" here in NM but d be happy to help anyone get anything i may be able to pick up.

Hey john, where in NM? I live in Rio Rancho. I am just starting to play with bugs and have an all brett in the primary right now.

Re: Anyone interested in all-brett swap II
I sent everyone on the west coast tasting two brett beers for the tasting - so we'll have 6 beers to open. One is an amber and the other (marked TPL) is a brandy barrel aged triple fermented in a 55 gallon brandy barrel (third use though so the oak and brandy are ever so slight) and aged for 5 months in it before kegging. I bottled using a counter pressure filler.

Yep, that's me. I know what you mean about playing with bugs, I had a BDSA that went onto cherries, oak and 2 brett strains in secondary for over 8 months. Now, I am playing with an all brett ferment, and plan on a flander's red and berliner weisse soon.

I still need to drop off Mikes brew (and the clausenii slurry which is ready for your experiment). Sometime Saturday?

I don't think so. Got some things to do during the day......and also I'm trying to get through all of these homebrews folks have sent me from the bugfarm extranvaganza.

FWIW

I have been in the chat room many times with no problem but today I tried on Firefox and couldn't get in. I went to safari and had no problems.

I again suggest people double check their compatibility.

Re: Anyone interested in all-brett swap II
Nice round of beers from the west coast crowd to taste yesterday. The easties sounded like they had a great assortment as well.

It was good to hear more impressions of 100% brettC beers to be similar to my experience. mostly bland and pretty much neutral beer-like.

N8 - let me know if my beer with the USPS shows up today or tomorrow. maybe it got lost with your new address?

cheers petec
