Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

I just really like the work levifunk is doing!

YOUR BBB USERNAME AND PASSWORD WILL NOT WORK ON THIS BOARD! If you want to post, you need to read this.

Re: Another Saison Swap?
Hi Doug,

Sorry, but we actually have the swap finalized and we will be tasting soon.

I'm down for a saison swap pretty much any time though,or any beer swap in the NY area. As I was reminded when I went down to ship at the UPS store: the shipping on these swaps can get really expensive!!!

Re: Another Saison Swap?
Hey Guys, I just wanted to say again, thanks for all who participated last night. That was an awesome showing of beers, and a great time!

Steve, we were talking about somehow posting recipes along with the swap page. Is there some way to do this? I could ask everyone to submit their recipe and copy and paste it all into Word, or whatever format works best.

A First!
After years of hoping someone would take on the task of arranging and executing a swap its finally happened! Thanks Sean, got the transcript this morning. In a few days I'll have the raw data in a good, readable format. Well done!

recording recipes is no problem. To keep it easy on my end, if they come in as word files I'll probably just make PDFs and post those.

Re: Another Saison Swap?
Thanks saison swappers, I really enjoyed all of the beers and picked up some great info for future batches. A very fun and friendly evening! Sean, a special thanks to you for organizing the event. Let's do it again soon.

Re: Another Saison Swap?
Definitely a big thanks to everybody...especially to Sean for organizing. It was a great showing all around!

Either Thor bashed me in the head repeatedly or I have Ragnorak going on inside my head this morning. Thanks for that! ;) Although the granola bar seems to have helped a bit...

Yes, indeed - we really enjoyed it too. Sean, will send you the Enigma recipe too.

As for the trancript, well, I do think it got off topic a wee bit here and there later in the evening?!>! All good fun though.

It was really nice to see everyone's take on the style and have both similar and diverse versions to compare. While there's probably no way to try to even assemble a 'representative' range of Saisons, I found this very instructive and also took away some good info for future brews. . . .

And yes, I too awoke thinking that I'd been trampled by all eight of Sleipnir's hooves!

Re: Another Saison Swap?
A first huh? Wow, I didn't know that. But I was happy to do the little work getting addresses together and whatnot. If it makes you feel better I did most of it from the office!

So yes, please send me your recipes guys, and I will probably just send them to Steve as PDF's, so whatever format you want to send me is fine, as long as it fits on a page.
