Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

Does anyone use the transcripts?
Oops, I let the chatroom expire. No biggie, I can get it back but their pricing has changed. The $80 a year room is fine except for one thing, no transcripts. That's now the next level up and another $45. I'm OK getting the room back in place, but who wants to throw away $45? If nobody uses the transcripts then it would be a waste. Steve

Re: Does anyone use the transcripts?
I've read through them before, and found them interesting (especially the one I participated in), but I don't know that I necessarily got anything "useful" from it besides entertainment. Maybe there is a manual workaround? Like can you just copy and past the contents of the chat window, and save it in a txt file? Just thinking out loud here.

Re: Does anyone use the transcripts?
Occasionally, I'll go back and review the transcripts. I find them most useful right after the swap, as sometimes after 4 or 5 beers I'll get the remarks mixed up between the beers. Is it worth $45, don't know. Like tankdeer commented, the transcripts / discussion usually isn't too detailed to be highly "useful."
