Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

Help with WLP500
Three weeks ago I brewed a golden ale OG 1.074 and pitched WLP500. It seems to have stopped at 1.020, I brought the temperature up to the high 70s hoping it would take off again and still nothing. Any suggestions?

Re: Help with WLP500
What was your recipe, mash temp, process etc...?

At 73% AA it could just be done fermenting if you didn't mash low enough and/or add enough sugar. If that is the case you could try adding some Beano, I have not tried it but I know several people whoi swear by it.

If it is the yeast, I would go with a rehydrated pack of US-05, it brought my hoppy tripel down from 1.030 to 1.012 when the primary yeast crapped out.
