My V8 Splash Mango Peach fermented
I put this on AHA but no one wants to discuss it...

should have put it up here 1st.

IN THE FRIDGE, It carbed up all by itself smells a bit sulfury, but tastes really NICE....

I wonder if this is a yeast...and if it is, it may be a lager because it has been in the

fridge a long time. I cracked the lid on it and sssssssssst.... bubbly neat flavored stuff.

How to proceed??, I suppose I could innoculate a bit of sanitized wert...from DME and see

what gives....totally spontaneous stuff here.

What Would You Do??

I have nothing to add except that is the only V-8 product I enjoy drinking. The stuff I have bought has never fermented even after being open for a few weeks.

That is what I was trying to think of....NICE...thanks.

Ok perhaps this will proceed. Right now, I am doing some

of that Oaked Rochefort....I will taste Splash another day...

Ok, It tastes like someone poured a Ginger Ale into the

bottle of V8 splash. It is carbed up and fizzes against

your tongue.

Update...I gleaned some of the liquid from this

and added it to some starter wert and trying to see

if It will develop into a culture of something...

something UNKNOWN...mwahahahahahah....

Human guinney pig...I have drank over 12 oz of it with

no apparent ill affect. Can anything that tastes so good

be that bad? Who knows what kind of organisms drift into

the cool ships in belgium??? Sure tastes good tho...

addendum, besides that, look up the wiki on Ethanol

talk about a pathenogen...that stuff is REALLY bad...If ya

drink beer tho, you consume that no problemo,

You're forgetting two very important things:

1) pH level of beer wort keeps the really nasty bugs out

2) Hops keep the really nasty bugs out

A photo of this yeast being grown up to brew quantities it is showing good activity now if I can get it to make beer...If it does and tastes good as the first starter beer tasted, this is really amazing flavored stuff.
