Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

Free New York Sour Homebrewing Event (Monday 10/25
If you’re around please come out to Beer Table in Brooklyn on October 25th. My friend Nathan and I will be up from DC to talk and taste homebrewed sour beer (including magnums of blended, barrel-aged, sour cherry stout and sour kvass). We’re happy to try to take requests as well for beers we’ve posted about ( http://themadfermentationist.com/ and http://desjardinbrewing.blogspot.com/ ).

Before our thing there is presentation on hops that isn’t free, but the homebrewer meet-up 9 pm that we’re there for at is completely free. Event page: http://www.beertable.com/events/

Ours is a blend of a bourbon barrel aged stout, red wine barrel Flanders red on cherries, spiced cherry quad, and a beer inspired by Rodenbach vin de Cereale, all primed with some honey from Nathan’s hives. I’m really excited to try it at the event because the magnum we are bringing is all there is.

Read about that a couple weeks ago, I'll be there for sure. Also trying to bring some Bugfarm IV from out of the carboy if anyone's interested in grabbing some.

Mike - are you guys driving up that Monday or over the weekend?

AlB and I are in Central Jersey...after work it'd be near 1.5 hrs to that area of Brooklyn - a bit ambitious on a Monday night....although Spuyten Duyvil is nearby...hmmm

Nina, we're probably driving (or maybe even train-ing) up early on Monday. If you guys want to come up earlier in the day and meet up for a couple beers before hand let me know. Although Spuyten doesn't open until 5 on weekdays...

DanZarrella I'm sure Boston will happen eventually. I'll be up for Night of the Funk in early November if anyone is going.

I'll be there. Beer's not ready to transfer yet, so I'm gonna have to hold off on bringing some Bugfarm. I'll send you some as soon as I transfer the beer, though.

Sorry dude!

Peace,

John
