Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

Ordering East Coast Yeast
Ordering ECY is thru Joe Bair at Princeton Homebrew.

609 252-1800 or joe at solarhomebrew.com. (no website)

Payment for ship orders is thru Paypal.

Cultures are in 125 ml bottles (liquid) and are intended to pitch into ~5-6 gal. Larger batches may require a starter.

We're using Facebook to announce the latest PH yeast deliveries and to provide general info. We also welcome feedback, inquiries, photos, etc on FB.

Right now Joe's playing catch-up on some shipping orders so I'm not sure what his inventory is like. He may have a wait list for a strain or two.

This is all very new, so please bear with us as we figure out the best way to get fresh cultures into brewers' hands! Hope you all have as much fun as we are!

I don't do facebook; can you provide a link and/or consider making the fb page publicly viewable?

Thanks!

Re: Ordering East Coast Yeast
Not sure Im in line speaking for ECY, but as Al is the supplier not the seller he is probably the wrong person to ask for pricing info. In the parent note there is a phone# and email address, you should probably contact Joe.

Re: Ordering East Coast Yeast
eeee, instead of asking Al to do more work to accomodate you, wouldn't it make more sense to spend the 2 minutes to make a free account to get the info you want?

Re: Ordering East Coast Yeast
I won't discuss pricing but Joe is quick with delivery and easy to work with.

I used PayPal for my order of Bug Farm.

Sorry Nina, I don't use Face Book.

+1. I agree totally. Joe is a pleasure to deal with, and the Bugfarm was delivered quite quickly.

Re: Ordering East Coast Yeast
Despite efforts to correct leaking containers, I am informing you all that shipping will be a crap-shoot until a new container is found.

I can only recommend to pick up at store only for the forsee-able future.

Appologies for the inconvenience,

Al B

Ordered my bugfarm from Joe on Tuesday - was delivered USPS today in good shape - no leaking container. Joe was great to deal with, pretty excited to be the main supplier for ECY too.

Re: Ordering East Coast Yeast
I've had stuff shipped to me in Wisconsin a couple times now (from you & the store) and had no problems. It does help that I've always had them shipped during cool weather here though.
