Al's Yeast
Fellow Babblers,

I am looking to get some of Al's bugs. I know he is distributing via ECY BUT as of this last batch, Joe Bair will not mail any more Bugs until fall. Please help!

I am looking for someone who either

1) Lives in CT/MA/RI area

or

2) Is willing to make some kind of trade and mail me

If you have a ECY02 (flemish) or Bug farm, drop me a line so I do not have to wait until fall to make a sour beer.

Thanks,

Bill

Re: Al's Yeast
I live in MA, but I'm not sure I understand how that helps since the yeast is in a shop in NJ.

Re: Al's Yeast
Patrick - sorry if I was not clear... I am looking for someone with the some of Al's Bugs that is willing to share. If you are close, I might drive to meet... otherwise someone would need to mail the bugs... which I would offer trade of some sort.

Re: Al's Yeast
Where do you live? I might be able to help you. I've got beers with the Flanders and Bug Farm IV blends that I think I could use to hook you up.

I'm in philly and go to trenton for work somewhat often, ( was just there yesterday as a matter of fact),. what'd you have in mind as far as a trade?

Re: Al's Yeast
Chris,

I live in Philly, but can't easily get to Trenton (no car/the train is pretty long ride). If you could pick some of Al's yeasts up for me (specifically interested in the Saison Blend and Bugfarm), I'd be happy to meet you in Philly somewhere and give you some money for the gas and your effort. (Plus pay for the yeast itself, of course.)

I'm not sure if the forum software lets me send you an email directly, but if you're willing I can post my email address in a followup message.

Thanks,

Aaron

PS Bill, sorry to hijack your post. I'll be in CT visiting family around the 4th of July, so I could probably bring you some yeast up...but hopefully you'll find an alternate arrangement before then!

Re: Al's Yeast
well, I'll definitely be heading to trenton within the next two weeks so I could hook whomever up, ( so long as Princeton homebrew has the stuff in stock),. Yes, post your email up and I'll get in touch. Maybe just do it like .... johndoe at gmail dot com.... or what have you.

Re: Al's Yeast
Patrick,

I live near Groton (South East CT). I will be driving up to NH for June 4 contest in Manchester, NH - so might be able to work a meeting then.

Aaron, I may take you up on it if I have not worked something before then. Thanks.

Bill
