Welcome to the homeBBBrew board!
Like the BBB, the homeBBBrew board is not a club, just a place to talk about making beer. Is there a swap you would like to see happen? If we can find a few others who have something similar then lets do it!

Any Experience With Vintners Harvest?
Does anyone have any experience with the Vintners Harvest products? They make fruit wine bases, but I was curious if any body has experience fermenting clean or wild/sour beers with them?

I've had good success using their Black Currant 96oz can in certain melomel recipes. I know of several award winning mead makers who also use it. I have no experience using their products in beer, but they seem to be decent stuff in general.

Cool, I may check them out then. I just want to avoid any kind of artificial over processed type flavors. Hard to come by fresh fruit in Texas, especially with the drought.

Re: Any Experience With Vintners Harvest?
I've used the blackberry wine base in beer. No problems with quality or artificial flavors. Depending on the fruit and season, it can be an economical alternative. 96 oz is a little much for a 5 gallon batch IMO, so I've split it and froze some for later use.
