COAST TO COAST TOAST
JezzaP

This was our 3rd trip to the US in the past 3.5 years, but this one was different from the others. For a start, we were going coast to coast with stops in several other places in between - we spent time in all four mainland US time zones during our trip; secondly we were meeting up with loads of friends, and staying with four of them; and finally, since our last trip, I had learned a bit about quality US beers via the Babble Belt, and hence I had come prepared: there would be no more crappy US beer for me! My hit list was ready and it was going to be fun to work through it.

However, I should stress that this was NOT a beer holiday. Shopping, sight seeing and general relaxation were to be the order of the day, with just the odd beer event like the GABF thrown in to keep me amused. Well, that was the plan anyway!
